Hey There!

I’m Emily, and very grateful to be a Witchlet!

I am newer to the birth world and am ecstatic to be here. After graduating from college in 2020 I went on to do a year of community service through Americorps with a nonprofit in Phoenix Arizona. The nonprofit I volunteered at Maggie’s Place, provides housing and support for pregnant and parenting women who have experienced homelessness. My time there surrounded by meaningful community was transformative, sparking a deep commitment to walk alongside families during one of the most vulnerable and powerful times in their lives.

I finally took my birth doula course through DONA International in April of 2025. I also became Spinning Babies trained in June 2025, as well as VBAC Link Certified in July 2025. I am forever indebted to my first client as a birth doula. I wouldn’t be here today without her motivation to take the leap to become certified so I could support her and her husband in the birth of her first child in May of 2025. Then things for the start of my career just kept getting better…

I’m a lover of the universe and its mysterious ways of connecting humans to one another. The universe gifted me a beautiful web of connections when I met my second client through my mentorship with Saltwater Doulas. My client welcomed a birth team into her home with open arms and that is when I met Kelly! The stars aligned when I showed up for a second prenatal meeting with our client and Kelly just so happened to drop in at the same time. I was given a heads up by our client that I would really enjoy meeting Kelly. Can confirm, I sure did!

Kelly graciously invited me to participate in a body balancing session with our client, which after immediate reflection was the missing piece to my puzzle. I’ve always intuitively known I was placed on this earth to support others with unconditional love and the power of my own two hands. Kelly unlocked that for me by following her intuition and offering her mentorship. After learning what I have I couldn’t imagine supporting birth any other way. I believe in the power of community and know the gossip Kelly has built is a long lasting and strong one.

It’s important to me that you know I enjoy incorporating bits of astrology into who I am and how I work. I’m an Aries, a fire sign born in March. I’m 200 hour Yoga Instructor certified as of January 2024 (who needs a bit more practice haha). I also love chakral energy in the body and the physical representation that crystals hold of that energy. Tiger’s Eye is one of my favorites and it represents the Solar Plexus Chakra, physically located in your gut. Otherwise known spiritually as your intuition and personal power. Speaking of intuition, babies bring about a primal maternal instinct from deep within our bodies and our practice allows us to become “quiet enough to listen” -TBW.

My hope as a Witchlet and as the Tiger’s Eye Doula LLC is to ensure every client feels empowered to embrace their self intuition, courage, and confidence throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.
